Pope Francis has placed the year we have just begun under the spiritual guidance and protection of St Joseph. He has done so by writing an Apostolic Letter entitled 'Patris Corde'.

This booklet will then lead us to reflect on our own spiritual experience and friendship with the saints. In the second part of the booklet, we shall turn to the Scriptures, especially the infancy narratives of Matthew and Luke, in order to come to appreciate the person and mission of St Joseph, and his being truly an outstanding man of faith, hope and love.

This booklet will end with a short introduction to the Apostolic Letter 'Patris corde'.
