In preparation for the Synod of Bishops October 2015, ten African Cardinals and Bishops have contributed essays to provide an insight into the attitudes of Africans towards marriage and the family. They discuss the culture and traditions of their homeland, while drawing attention to the rich teaching of the Magisterium of the Church on that subject. These African Pastors provide reflection about modern Western culture and our personal lives, as well as an introduction to the Synod.
