This booklet highlights many of the ways catechists, both new and seasoned, can deepen their own experience of studying and appreciating the parables—Jesus’ great stories that teach us so much about God and ourselves.

It provides challenging and engaging ways of sharing this newfound appreciation with students of all ages. Topics include rediscovering the parables, how to respond to parables creatively, reading and praying the parables, the parables in Mark and Matthew, literary devices and repeated images in the parables, and the parables in our lives.
