Carey and Carol Jean have composed new music for the entire school year and every liturgical season. Based on Scripture and reflecting sound theology, the songs feature refrains that are fun and easy for young people to sing.

Begun more than 30 years ago, the popular Hi God series keeps getting better. The latest volume presents songs for children and young people in grades 1-9.

Arrangements include two- and three-part harmonies for children's choirs, as well as accessible instrument parts.

"The Lord Is My Light" is a spirited new setting of Psalm 27. A rollicking song of praise, "Let Us Go Rejoicing!" is well suited for First Eucharist and the opening of the school year. "A Holy Song of Joy," based on Psalm 150, gives children a chance to try new instruments. Songs for younger children include "God's Shining Stars" and "Go Where I Send Thee," Carey's new arrangement of the Christmas spiritual.
