Starring Richard Burton, Peter O’Toole, and Sir John Gielgud, this epic film is now in a restored transfer with special features including a commentary track from Peter O’Toole, interviews with cast and crew members, and much more. This gripping drama depicts the historical account of King Henry II (Peter O’Toole) and his loving friendship with Thomas Becket (Richard Burton), who had been the monarch’s closest confident and advisor.
The account takes an ironic turn, however, after the King makes Becket the Archbishop of Canterbury. Becket finds himself moved towards an uncompromising devotion to God, a rival with whom the King cannot compete.

Bread and Wine
A new born baby is abandoned at the door of a house of Franciscan friars. After baptising him and giving him the name of Marcelino, the friars try to find the best possible home for the baby. Their attempts fail and the baby stays in the friary.
Five years go by and among Marcelino's childish tempatations there is an outstanding one: to go into an attic where the friars had always forbidden him to go, giving the explanation that there was a man there who might take him away forever.
